Description
A Junmai Daiginjo made with Hattanso, Hiroshima's oldest native sake rice. Fukucho revived this rare variety from old seed stock and grows it with reduced pesticides and fertilizer. This Junmai Daiginjo beautifully expresses the elegance of the region's traditional sake rice.
Delicate aromas of white peach, pear, and melon lead into a silky palate with gentle sweetness, refined umami, and a graceful, lingering finish. Crafted by pioneering female toji Miho Imada, it is a sake of purity, balance, and quiet sophistication. Pairs beautifully with shellfish, especially oysters.
