Description
The Satake Series explores how different rice polishing techniques influence the character of sake. This expression uses flat polishing (Henpei Seimai), an innovative method developed by Satake that removes the outer layers of the rice more evenly while preserving its natural shape. The result is exceptional purity, allowing the character of Hiroshima's rare Hattanso sake rice to shine.
Elegant aromas of white peach, melon, and delicate white flowers lead into a silky palate with refined umami, soft minerality, and vibrant freshness. Beautifully balanced and remarkably clean, it finishes with impressive length and precision.
Like all sake from Imada Shuzo, this Junmai Daiginjo reflects Miho Imada's philosophy of expressing the unique character of Hiroshima's native sake rice through careful craftsmanship and modern innovation.
