A very special and strong Namazake Genshu (unpasteurized, no added water). Its name can be translated as “the whale in the Biwa lake”. Of course there are no whales in this lake but this sake will surprise you as much as a real whale would. With an alcohol percentage of 20%, it is strong to say the least, but enjoyed cold, or on the rocks, the sophisticated flavors of a Namazake come out perfectly.
For this unpasturized sake (Nama) we have taken great care into keeping it refrigerated during the transport and storage.
*This is a Namazake (unpasteurized) so it needs to be stored refrigerated at all times. We do not advice this sake for shipments outside of NL as we cannot guarantee a fast shipment.
